Back in the Alice- Year 2

Marshmallows out the back of our place is a delicacy.

Bojangles Saloon Bar Bourbon Ribs.

Elijah and one of his pets.

We have settled back into life in Alice very well. A refreshing and at the same time, exhausting Christmas time back in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast made us feel somewhat relieved to be back "home". Still hard to work out where home is, but Alice does grow on you and we appreciate the slowing down of our pace, the pace of shop assistants, the traffic and people walking around.

What better way than to celebrate "Australia Day" in Alice Springs with your sons...brewing and bottling your first lot of home brew "Rusty's Lager".

It's not camel or roo, but lamb. I learnt how to cook on the Weber we bought for $40 at a Lawn Sale.

Joseph starting his long journey as a flesh eater. Not strong enough to hold a bottle of "Rusty's Lager"

Elijah's first day catching the bus with Kurtis. Elijah is in Transition. Kurtis in Grade 4. Next to them is Jemma, the lovely next door neighbour. I still love wearing the mighty Aspley Hornets shirt.

Is this Elijah? Does anyone remember him as a baby?

Belinda's mum came and stayed with us for 4 weeks. This is out at Ross River Resort, about 7okm from Alice.

Emily's Gap. Beautiful, Peaceful. Only swallowed 4 flies this day.

The fireplace at Ross River Resort.

Kurtis and Elijah with their friend Ethan. Ethan had a birthday party at the Illparpa Clay pans. Muddy, Peaceful. Only 3 flies swallowed and crunched between the teeth.
