A few photos...A few updates

A photo from Movember 2010 with my other son Joseph.

Home brewing is still such a big part of Modlin family life

Another visit from a former Brisbane Bullets legend- Andre Moore.

Not a photo from Alice Springs, but Belinda and I celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary on the Sunshine Coast. A whole day out without kids. Breakfast, movies, lunch, shopping and dinner and latin dancing....what a night!

Albrecht House Vice-Captain Kurtis Modlin

Oh look, it's raining in Alice again and the river is flowing again.

Manny, Joseph (buried), Rioli and Eugene. 4 of the fellas I took away on "Strong Way" camp recently to Simpsons Gap for 2 nights. A good break and some tough times, but enjoyable.

Big Sister Kate comes to Visit

I seem to start all these posts now with "Gee it's been a long time". Not sure why. I have been watching too much TV again and been very tired coming home at night. I have now been doing some night work at Yirara, coaching Basketball, football training, running a transition to adulthood course (more on that later) for some 13/14 year old "fellas" and just trying to make the most out of the year. Big sister Kate Fraser came for a visit. This excited the boys immensely and after Joseph's extremely tearful goodbye to Kate and Christmas time. It did take him awhile to warm to her again. He had another tearful performance at the airport when she left Alice Springs 10 days later. We love having her around and she certainly is becoming a Modlin more and more....poor thing. She photographs everything, but we have loved having the photos. As you can see, it rained and rained and rained out here in the desert. Not very brown at all and the photos are quite stunning. We actually couldn't take her very far, most of the roads were cut and the rain just did not stop.

Red mud! Lovely to play in...harsh on the clothes! I don't do the washing so it doesn't faze me that much.

 Spectacular sunsets over Alice

Kate grew to about 10 foot tall while she was in Alice Springs.
