I play basketball with these fellas. We dropped back from A grade to B grade and we seem to be doing much better. Kurtis loves coming to the games and they really look after him.

The first Home Group I have had while at Yirara. 10 Vocational Education Class. Low literacy and numeracy, but preparation for work. I have only had them for one term and I have been moved onto the other Grade 10 class teaching English again. Still doing PE and Health, but had to pick up an English class while the regular teacher is on long service.

Some of the lads. Touch Football team, but probably some of our most talented sportsmen. And they are regular attenders!!

Elijah and his cousin Olive.
On the way to Standley Chasm.

Another visit for 2 weeks from my brother, his wife Erin and the very cute Olive.

Elijah has got much bolder climbing up the climbing tree.

This is "Chiko". He runs our new "church". Apparently, he has been doing this riverbank church for aobut 18 years. He drives round a few of the town camps and brings people into town, He puts on a BBQ, sings a few classics, and preaches up a storm. He just wants to preach "the truth". No lights, no offering, no notices, no programs. Elijah even told him he was running the Sunday School in the dry river with the kids.
Joseph has found his new spot up the climbing tree. He just sits there like a little koala.
Trephina Gorge. Camping Trip with the boys (minus Joseph).
A cold night round the fire. We had a great time. We had the ranger come and give us a fireside chat and some good firewood. The other campers loved the boys sharing the marshmallows and their antics round the fire. Very tired, but we just laughed the night away once we got into the sleeping bags.
