Modlin Family Road Trip - Day 10 - Mataranka to Tennant Creek 566km

The boys and I finally succumbed to an early morning swim at the famous Thermal Pools. Walked through the forest of flying foxes (Elijah found it freaky) and had a swim with the boys in the 32 degrees pool. Rushed home for the Barra feeding demonstration and took my brother's advice and stopped for a famous Mataranka pie- "Sorry. They're not hot enough yet, we only just put them on." - Welcome to theTerritory.

One of the easy to catch barras here in Mataranka.

Kurtis hand feed ing a barramundi. You might be able to make it out under the water.

Even Elijah could catch them.

Keeps me up all night and look at him- big showoff.

Another place we took a photo of Kurtis- at the Threeways.

We will be nudging the Tuscon as close as we can to this speed to get home tomorrow in time for the Grand Final.
